Ugly Heroes are a dope trio that consists of producer Apollo Brown who has been very prolific the past few years releasing a multitude of instrumental albums and albums with The Left, O.C. Hassan Mackey, Boog Brown and Guilty Simpson and not to mention his own version of Adrian Younge and Ghostface Killah's "12 Reasons To Die" album known as "The Brown Tape"

The 2 MC's making up the rest of Ugly Heroes are Molemen affiliate Verbal Kent (Chicago) and Detroit's own Red Pill and in celebration of the self titled debut album the Mello Music Group label are offering a free download of the track "Hero's Theme"

Apollo Brown:

Apollo Brown and Black Milk are two of my fave producers these days, I have been a fan of both for a number of years, I first heard Black Milk beats in the early 00's and Apollo Brown's beats around about 2008.

Both producers hail from Detroit (stand up) and picked up the torch from the late, great J-Dilla after he sadly passed away in 2006.

Black Milk also gets busy on the mic and produces and first made his impact in 2002 with Ten Speed and Brown Shoe (Milk, Name Tag and Ahk) they appered on Slum Village's Dirty District mixtape LP, Black Milk was also a part of BR Gunna (Black Milk, Young RJ and Fat Ray) and is also part of super group Random Axe with Sean Price and Guilty Simpson.

As for not seeing any photos of Solid Scheme your correct Chris and I were really on the low. We just made beats. Chris Passed away on March 9th 2001 of a suddden heart attack he was only 31That was my Dog! As for me I'm still making beats living in Los Angeles though originally from Brooklyn.
